And so be it, provided the indomitable spark of joy never went out.” -Ellis Peters writing about 12^th Century England, a time of fierce inescapable conflict between warring royals, years of a civil war that rampaged through much of the country.

Our practice this month is to rediscover and add to that indomitable spark of joy, no matter what.

Each of us knows how to find, hold, cherish that spark. And give it away every chance we get. Let us claim a spectacular month strengthening our beliefs about the ways we are sustained by joy. Indomitable joy.
