Joyful Gods December 28: Waiting for Peace

This holy day, December 28, we welcome those divine beings who urge us toward the most important things to remember and to manifest – our true spiritual Direction. Here is a representation of one of those divine ones: pointing to the possibility of making peace, of being peace.

Waiting For Peace

I can see the grass,
the flowers, the sky,
and the sea.

I can feel the
the sun, the rain,
love and sadness.

I can hear laughter, the wind
and all the songs.

I can taste the water,
the fruit and the earth.

I can touch almost everything
and everyone.

Why do I have to wait to
see, feel, hear, taste or touch peace?

Why can’t I hold it in my hands
along with my butterfly?
