Again I open my eyes
to exclaim, “Oh my God!
Brilliant white clouds
crown my Mountain
as wispy angels lift
from the swiftly moving bank below
drifting into the blue above
Ou my God!
Oh my God!
Oh my God!
In the beauty of the world
I see the Divine
and I bow down.

This is the month to bow down to the beauty of the world and to celebrate the presence, the joyful presence, of the holy, the eternal, the glory in all things.

“The Bank of Roses”

The bank of roses shouts out its joy
as I pass it on my walk,
the scent so strong and sweet
it stopes me in my tracks.
Drinking in the deep pink
of hundreds of individual flowers,
I hear their voices rise as one
to the bright blue sky that
holds us all.
