The Month for Joyful Transformation

These days are turning-of-the-world days, stretching into a new season.

So it is with our lives. Every day a turning day, expanding into change.

Offering praise to the splendor of this month makes the idea of Joyful Transformation possible. We let joy do the work of changing us, transforming our lives into songs of praise to the world that is, the life that is ours. No matter what else is happening.

And we invite visions of a world that can be. We take action to bring that world into being. Dedicating each action, tiny or tremendous, local or global, as an act of love and praise for the Earth and all Her children transforms us. Joyfully.

A Joy Practice:

As we wash the dishes, fold the clothes, attend town meetings, donate money, smile at the neighbor (and her barking dog), sign petitions, go about the business of living productively – we do it mindfully, as an act of caring, of loving kindness. By cherishing all things as gifts from the Earth, we cherish Her. By cherishing Her mindfully with gratitude and praise, we transform ourselves.
